There are so many different types of therapy available today. This can be confusing. How do you decide what you want and need?
Some therapies, such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) are very specific, time limited and technical, involving setting goals and homework. Others such as Psychodynamic Therapy are focused on how past experiences and the unconscious influence present feelings and behaviour. There are many more. All approaches have their place in the world of therapy.

My approach is known as Integrative Psychotherapy. This means that I use a combination of different psychotherapy techniques to suit the individual needs of the client. Together you and I would look at the most helpful ways to enable you to achieve what you want.

I see therapy as a journey that both client and therapist commit to. This involves looking at the present but also exploring the past and considering the future. The three are undoubtedly linked.
