EXPERIENCE:
I have worked in the caring professions in the public, voluntary and private sectors for over 25 years. This included roles in social work and the criminal justice system. It was whilst working in these professions that I gained an interest in counselling and psychotherapy.
After completing my psychotherapy training, I set up my own therapy practice in 2010. Since then, I have worked with hundreds of people from a diverse range of backgrounds and with a huge variety of issues.
In addition, I have also held the following roles:
I also provide onsite critical incident support for organisations. This involves psychological support for employees after difficult experiences such as the death of a valued colleague.

- Drug and Alcohol counsellor - in substance misuse unit
- Clinical Manager - managing a counselling service for adults
- Employment Assistance Counsellor (EAP) - offering telephone based support for employees from a variety of backgrounds

- Covid – working with individuals to process a shared event which affected everyone in unique ways.
